TrackonAI Is Secure. Here Is What Changes When You Add AI Assistants.

Your trading data in TrackonAI sits in isolated, encrypted databases. Each company's data is completely separated. Even our own team cannot access your data. This does not change.

The AI assistant feature is optional. When you enable it, you can ask questions about your trading data from AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT. To answer your question, the AI needs to read your data. Where that reading happens is up to you.

Standard Cloud AI

The simplest option. You connect from Claude.ai or ChatGPT and start asking questions. Your trading data is sent to the AI provider's servers so the AI can read it and respond.

Be aware:

  • Your data (counterparty names, quantities, prices, contract details) is processed on the AI provider's computers
  • The AI provider may keep your data in logs
  • If their safety systems flag something in your data, a person at that company may review it
  • Your data may be subject to legal requests in the AI provider's country

Good for: Quick setup, everyday commercial data with no special confidentiality requirements.

Enterprise Cloud AI

Same setup, but with a formal agreement between your company and the AI provider. Claude and ChatGPT both offer enterprise plans that include:

  • Your data will not be used to train their AI models
  • Restricted employee access to your data
  • A signed data processing agreement

Your data still travels through the AI provider's servers, but with legal protections in place. If a court or regulator demands access, the contractual protections apply, but the data is still technically on their infrastructure.

Good for: Companies that want AI assistants with proper contracts and data agreements.

Private Cloud (Amazon Bedrock)

The AI runs inside your own account on Amazon Web Services. The AI company (Anthropic, OpenAI, or others) never sees your data.

This is significantly more private than sending data to Claude.ai or ChatGPT directly. Amazon does not use your data for training, and your data stays within your own cloud environment.

To be transparent: Your data is still on Amazon-managed infrastructure. Amazon's terms apply. Amazon is subject to legal process in the United States. This is the same level of privacy as using TrackonAI itself, since TrackonAI also runs on Amazon Web Services.

Good for: Companies that need to keep data away from AI providers but are comfortable with Amazon Web Services (which they are already using for TrackonAI).

Your Own Computers (Maximum Privacy)

You run a free, open-source AI model on your own hardware. It connects to TrackonAI directly. The AI runs on your machine. Your data stays on your network. No outside party is involved at all.

This is the only option where your trading data is processed entirely on equipment you own and control. No cloud provider, no AI company, no third party of any kind sees your data.

Good for: Organizations where no trading data may be processed by any outside party under any circumstances.

What Stays the Same Across All Options

  • Read-only: The AI can look at your data. It cannot change anything.
  • You turn it on, not us: Your administrator decides whether to enable this and who gets access.
  • Same login: You use your existing TrackonAI username and password.
  • Your data stays yours: The same security that keeps every company's data separate in TrackonAI applies to every AI query.
  • TrackonAI itself does not change: The web application remains fully secure regardless of whether you use AI assistants or not.
